{"id":153,"date":"2020-04-01T17:05:01","date_gmt":"2020-04-01T17:05:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thegodwhospeaks2020.org.uk\/?p=153"},"modified":"2020-04-07T14:48:07","modified_gmt":"2020-04-07T14:48:07","slug":"family-prayer-resources-for-palm-sunday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thegodwhospeaks2020.org.uk\/index.php\/2020\/04\/01\/family-prayer-resources-for-palm-sunday\/","title":{"rendered":"Family Prayer Resources for Palm Sunday"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-larger-font-size\">Palm Sunday\n\u2013 Pray through Play<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Hang\npalm branches (or any branches) on your door to mark Palm Sunday<\/li><li>Prompt\nyour child\/children to tell you about what happened to Jesus during Holy Week &#8211;\nPalm Sunday, Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday. <\/li><li>If\nthey are very young you may wish to retell the story of Holy Week using images\nor small toys. <\/li><li>Collect\nany palm branches you have at home from previous years. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-larger-font-size\">OR If you do not have palm branches at home, make your own from things you already have at home &#8211; paper or cut-out child handprints &#8211; to wave when you read about Jesus entering Jerusalem.
