This morning I realised I had totally forgotten about the clocks going forward.
Thankfully we don\u2019t really have to worry about this because normally the change is automatically done on all our technological devices. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Like me, I can imagine you have the odd clock somewhere in the house that requires to be changed manually. Ours is the kitchen clock. Before taking it down, I get my cleaning cloth ready to give it a good wipe. Poor clock, it only gets cleaned twice a year. I\u2019m going to blame it on the fact that I always think \u2018I\u2019ll do it tomorrow\u2019. To my defence it is located in a very tricky, awkward position for me to easily reach.
Today this clock change has felt different, as will so many other things that we will be doing for the next following months. How many times did we find ourselves thinking of something we wanted to do but didn\u2019t have the chance of getting around it because we didn\u2019t have \u2018time\u2019? How many times did we complain about being too busy? <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Today, as we experience such challenging times, we are also given the opportunity to decide how we will best use our quarantine time. Perhaps it is a time to go back to basics. A time to value all the things we normally take for granted. A time to cherish the people living in our house. A time to think of how we can indirectly share with those in need. Perhaps it is a perfect time to rediscover and bring our talents forward. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
May we ask God to give us the strength to get up today, to reflect on one particular talent that we would like to bring forward during this challenging time and may God give us the Grace so we may find the way to share it with others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
