<\/p>“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10<\/em> <\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My nine-month-old baby\nhas now mastered his crawling skills and is determined to make his first steps,\nsomething which is not easy for him at the moment.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He stands up, wobbles,\nloses his balance, gets easily tired then falls down again and begins to cry.\nAs parents or carers our first instinct is to help and encourage our little\nones to keep on trying for we know that it is only by persevering that they\nwill eventually get the hang of it. And soon our little ones will find\nthemselves walking (even running!) all over the place. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like him, how many of us might find ourselves in a similar situation where we feel as though we are continuously falling and struggling to find ways to get up? Maybe you have tried starting a new project but can\u2019t find the strength or motivation to carry on. Or you might have even experienced moments when your faith has wobbled. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How can we go forth when our lives, plans and things that we thought of as normal have completely changed? During these difficult moments, we must remember that our Heavenly Father is also always with us. He is taking care of us, holding us, reminding us to persevere. He will make a way where there is none,  “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

May the Lord show us His grace so we may trust in Him, feel His love and presence in our lives – so we may keep going<\/em>. 

To all the key workers who are in the frontline, keep going<\/em>. 
To all the parents who have a family to look after, keep going<\/em>. 
To all our families, parishes, communities and world, keep going<\/em>. 
To those who feel anxious, sad or alone, keep going<\/em>. 
To those working in developing a vaccine for Covid-19, keep going<\/em>. 
To children who miss their relatives, friends and school, keep going<\/em>. 
To those helping others feel connected by sharing their Love and Faith, keep going<\/em>. 
To those who are suffering, keep going<\/em>.
Whatever your circumstance, Trust in the Lord and keep going<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
