<\/p><cite>John 11:35<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><em>By Helen Jones Pastoral Associate,  Liverpool South<\/em> <em>Pastoral Area<\/em>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI can\u2019t breathe\u201d&nbsp;How those words haunt us.&nbsp; How can&nbsp;tears&nbsp;be stone and&nbsp;ears be deaf&nbsp;when pleas are made?&nbsp; How deep is the hatred and distrust to&nbsp;solidify&nbsp;hearts?&nbsp; What happened to love?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>And Jesus wept.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the tear gas canisters are thrown to clear a square&nbsp;allegedly&nbsp;for a&nbsp;presidential&nbsp;\u201cphoto opportunity\u201d in front of a church in Washington DC,&nbsp;has&nbsp;the tipping point&nbsp;finally&nbsp;been&nbsp;reached?&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>And Jesus wept.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As&nbsp;images&nbsp;of police guards on their knees in front of protesters, defusing situations of conflict,&nbsp;are circulated it is clear there is hope:&nbsp;hearts are open.&nbsp;Tears are falling.&nbsp;
